• SUBSTATION CABLE JOINTING
At SPEC Ltd our highly skilled team has in-house access to all the necessary technology, to enable us to work professionally on cable joint or cable termination projects up to 6,6000 volts in various locations from the UK to Eastern European oil terminals, to offshore oil fields.


• OFFSHORE AND INTERNATIONAL
Since incorporation in 2000, SPEC Ltd have worked overseas and offshore for predominantly UK clients, but in more recent times international clients directly.


• TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
We provide full certification for all equipment provided and installed by ourselves. Alternatively, we can test and commission client-owned equipment on site.


• SUBSTATION SUPPLY SERVICES
We can design and build or supply and install to a client’s specification. With many years of substation design and installation experience in all sectors of the industrial, commercial and MOD environment, our knowledge is second to none.


• VLF CABLE TESTING
Due to the rise in wind-farm work and client requests for VLF testing, SPEC Ltd recently acquired the most up to date 60 kV VLF test set.


• ELECTRICAL CABLE FAULT LOCATION
SPEC Ltd can assist and carry out cable fault location services either on above ground cables, under ground cables or even sub-sea cables. When cable faults occur this means companies, large or small, are at a total loss of power to and of supply. In most cases, this means loss of revenue and an immediate response and action plan.


• HIGH VOLTAGE (HV) SWITCHGEAR RETROFIT
Electrical switchgear and safety is at the forefront of any operational site, and the advice given by the HSE will help you to keep your electrical switchgear safe and comply with The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.


• SUBSTATION INSTALLATION SERVICES
We can provide a complete installation service from HV Switchgear and transformers to LV distribution circuits.


• LOW VOLTAGE SERVICES
SPEC Ltd have the capacity and knowledge to undertake Low Voltage (LV) projects of all shapes, sizes and scope. Predominantly, the electrical team at Aldershot undertake industrial and heavy industrial installations. However, we also undertake lighting schemes (both internal and external), substation fit outs and office refurbishments as required.


• ENERGY SAVING SERVICES
