About Wall2Wall Sash Windows Ltd
Our sash windows are made in modern factory in Lithuania using the same construction methods and traditions borrowed from the UK. Our aim is to provide a window that looks authentic and is up to modern living standards. These sliding sash windows are of a suitable standard to replace windows in historic buildings or in conservation areas.
- We make four types: Sash Box, Sash Spring, Sash Supertilt System and Sash Pivot.
- Oak is used for the sills and pine is used for the sash frame and sash boxes. We also make windows from hard wood. We use a three-layer laminated wood. Three-layer wood technology provides a window frame deformation resistance and prolongs the window's period of use. The outer layers are radial or semi-radial cut, which protects the window surface from cracking. To glue the frames we use 4D class wood glue, which is water resistant.
- For the finish our windows are painted 4 layers. Waterproof undercoat, insulating primer and two coats of Rhenocoll paint (Germany) in any RAL colour you choose.
- Windows are double pane. Inner glass 4-12Ar-4GNP (Energy saving glass unit) reliably protects against burglary. They are glazed from the inside, which means that the window glass cannot be removed from the outside.
- Window glazing is finished with GreenteQ silicone, which is a neutral curing approved silicone sealant (RTV-1) connecting joints in the interior, and exterior as well as other joints. It meets the requirements for the glazing of windows in accordance with DIN 18545, Part 2, Group E.
- For the safety & security of our sash windows we use Mighton (UK) hardware.
- We also make Front Doors, Bi-folding doors from soft or hard wood (Oak)
