PLASTREX is an innovative material with the properties and application opportunities which help it replace wood, and it is even more weather resistant and easily workable like wood.
Being produced from household plastic waste, it is also especially environmentally friendly. Plastrex helps reduce the amount of waste polluting our environment by providing the most suitable area of their use and saving valuable wood. At the first stage of production, plastic packaging is transformed into the raw material suitable for plastic production industry.
At the second stage, the extrusion method is used to produce a variety of plastic profiles from the raw material. These profiles are widely usable in especially severe and resistance-demanding conditions which would make the service life of wood rather short.
The further finishing of PLASTREX profiles is similar to wood: the material can be sawn, milled and screwed together; moreover, nailed joints are even stronger than those of wood.
PLASTREX does not rot or absorb moisture and is easy to clean. PLASTREX can be painted and is weather resistant. The unit weight of PLASTREX is the same as that of wood, ca 0.6 – 0.7 per m3. The sphere of application of PLASTREX is impressively wide: garden furniture, fence modules, terrace sub-constructions, flower and compost boxes, garbage container sheds, goods pallets, sandboxes, horse stables, agricultural barns, etc.
PLASTREX is made from thermally treated food industry plastic packages and is absolutely free of toxic substances.
T&G Board - Plastrex T&G board is an extremely durable plank manufactured in a two-step production. It is designed as an alternative to timber in any place where durability and resistance to decay is in demand.
Terrace Board - Plastrex terrace boards are easy to install – it can be sawn, screwed, cut the same as wood. For the best result, the manufacturer recommends Plastrex terrace board on Plastrex beam.
Planks & Beams - Plastrex beams and planks allow anyone to use their imagination and build a shed, fence, greenhouse and terrace for a lifetime.

In ELEGRO product, we use high-performance, high-quality exterior film. Core of the board is made of recycled thermotreated polymer. ELEGRO material is perfect for horse stables, fencing systems and many other areas of use. ELEGRO warranty is 26 years for interior conditions and 15 years for exterior ones.
