Architects & Landscape Designers
Damson Design was set up by Nicola Hills as a landscape design practice based in the Lyth Valley in 2004. Tony Hills joined Damson in 2007 and the Practice has established itself as an award winning Architects and Landscape Design practice working in the lake District and NW England.


Damson Design is the trading name of Damson Consultancy Limited. The Practice has beautiful offices in The Stables, next to the famous topiary gardens at Levens Hall near Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District National Park

Damson has an excellent track record working with Private and Commercial Clients to achieve successful projects.


Architecture
Director Tony Hills has over 30 years working as an Architect in the North West.

Many years' experience working on sensitive conservation projects incorporating listed buildings.

Recently qualified as a Certified Passive House Designer

Tony’s Commercial experience designing Booths supermarkets in Ripon, Kendal, Garstang, Penrith, Milnthorpe and Grange-over-Sands. Currently working on new Aldi in Clitheroe and working on new schemes with Lidl and WCF.


Landscape & Gardening
Director Nicola Hills has extensive experience working as a Garden and Landscape Designer.

She qualified as a Garden Designer at Merrist Wood and has worked on a number of contemporary gardens, as well as show gardens.

Nicola likes to blend traditional planting schemes in a contemporary manner and believes landscape design is about making connections between personal space and the surrounding landscape.


Master Planning
Extensive experience Master Planning Residential and Commercial projects successfully leading to Outline and Detailed Planning Approvals.
