Towens provides smart and sustainable recycling, waste management and civils across Somerset and the South-West of England.

Our objective for over 25 years is to recycle or reuse as much waste as possible with the minimum going to landfill.

With four recycling facilities, a fleet of over 40 tippers, artics and skip lorries we transport and process soils, aggregates and construction waste with over 90% of the material recycled or reused.

Waste Management
A full range of waste management and consultancy services. The key to waste management is treating waste as a resource and trying to find as many ways as possible to recycle or reuse everything that comes to us. Most things can be, wood, stone, soil, metals, plasterboard and most plastics can all have a second life. This helps to reduce the number of virgin materials that society uses, reducing our impact on the environment. Skip Hire
1000 skips of all sizes so you can find the right skip to suit your project. Ideal for property owners, builders, and contractors. Delivered across Somerset usually within 24 hours. Book a skip hire in 3 simple steps. If you can’t find the service you are looking for, please contact us. Please Note: You may need a skip hire permit depending on where you choose to place your skip. Skip hire duration is for 2 weeks. Tippers & Muck Away
Over 30 “8 wheel” tippers for hire, aggregate, topsoil delivery and muck away. Covering Somerset, Gloucestershire, West Wiltshire and North Devon.

Aggregates & Soils
Recycled topsoil, sand and aggregates plus a full range of quarried aggregates and concrete lego blocks delivered to you.

Plant Hire
A range of excavators, screeners, sweepers and crushers delivered on our low loader. We have a range of plant that is available for hire either with or without a qualified operator.

Civils & Demolition
Groundworks, drainage, concrete, demolition and construction projects. Using our own skilled tradesmen and a range of specialised subcontractors we perform small scale contracts across the South west for a number of select customers. Using our own equipment and vehicles we provide a bespoke, responsive service to meet your needs.
