If you’re looking for a company that lacks in Communication & Quality, look no further than Severn Fireplaces & Woodburners.

We were quoted for day rates of “Buildwork”, “Gas Installer” and “Labourer”, yet Severn Fires sent a “Gas Installer” to complete the entire job (Brickwork, Plastering & Installation).

Once the building work was completed and prior to the fire being installed, the wall was fully painted. Unfortunately less two weeks after having the installation, it malfunctioned meaning the same fitter attended to resolve the problem, however they applied filler to the newly painted wall and didn’t resolve the problem. It took Severn Fires over a week to get the replacement part and to come and fit it. However this was only after multiple calls and emails from ourselves

When sending this and pictures to the General Manager (Mark) of Severn Fires we had no response.

The finished job looks unprofessional, unclean and not what we had expected from a company that prides itself of having a "dedicated and professional team to provide customers with quality products". The walls now have white stains, the fire sticks out of the wall and the brickwork at the bottom of the fire is not smooth and is visible when looking at the fire. The overall installation is extremely poor.

I will not be recommending this company to friends/family and would advise others to stay away!
