Proactive Commercial Maintenance (ProActive CM) started its life as a division within a shop fitting company, Bluegroup Retail.

Bluegroup was founded in 2005 and has been creating fantastic commercial environments ever since. Our customers were so impressed with the service they received that we were inundated with requests to maintain the stores too.

Leveraging the experience and knowledge of the fitting team, a new maintenance division was created, and the maintenance business was born.

Quickly earning a reputation for quality, loyalty and dependability, ProActive CM has grown consistently for 7 years and in October 2012 became a separate standalone company working in partnership with its shopfitting sister company Bluegroup Retail.

Now the two business work closely offering turn-key solutions that take a client’s empty unit into a fully functioning office or retail unit which operates as it should and is compliant in its day to day business over its full life cycle.

Health & Safety
Every employer and retailer has a duty of care to ensure the health and safety of their staff and customers.

A successful business has to focus the majority of its efforts on its products, its presentation, its interaction with customers and actually getting business done.

While understanding that the health and safety of its customers and staff is paramount, businesses can often feel that the burden of complying with legislation is onerous.

Additionally there can sometimes be the fear of the unknown. In a growing business the responsibility of Health and Safety can often be passed to an employee with little or no formal training, potentially leaving the business exposed when things are missed.

At ProActive CM we can help guide you through what needs to be done and once everything is in place, keep it there with our regular planned visits.


Aesthetics
Fighting against the effects wear and tear caused by constant traffic and use is an important part of the service we offer.

Born out of a business that creates and installs amazing shops and offices, ProActive Commercial Maintenance understands how important that creation is – and why so much time, effort and money has been spent making it.

We understand how the fit-out has been put together and how to slow the decay that wear and tear, footfall and usage naturally causes.

From a functional and aesthetic perspective, our operatives extend the life of your space, lengthening the time between major refits and keeping it looking and working better in the meantime.

Whilst business critical issues will get reported back to head office, trodden-in chewing gum in the carpet, cobwebs in the difficult-to-reach areas and scuffs to the walls won’t. Our operatives will take care of these issues, and when cabinets and carpets reach the end of their useful life, will report back with photos. Particularly useful if the furthest flung store in an estate is 400 miles apart from the head office.
