RKDH is a privately owned business operating out of Husbands Bosworth near Lutterworth, Leicestershire located in an ideal central location to access all areas of the UK. Additional regional operating facility is located near to Sheffield to provide enchanced service provisions to the industry and our clients.
RK Group was established in 2000, founded on many decades of combined experience in the pipeline and utilities contracting industry, including water, gas, electric, telecommunications and general civil engineering. With this depth of experience combined with a can-do attitude the focus of the business is to deliver quality schemes, in time and on budget to a varied client base in a safe and professional manner
RKDH adopts a total hands-on management approach. Keeping administrative overheads to a minimum enables us to offer a totally professional, quality service at competitive rates.
RKDH has been installing district heating for various clients across the UK, and offers a full turnkey solution: supplying pre-insulated steel and plastic pipework from various established suppliers; delivering the pipework and fittings from overseas to the UK; full installation process, including all civil works, such as setting out, excavating and backfilling; and full reinstatement to all Class 1 welding works and fusion-welded band joints, as installed drawings, including GPS recording.

The company provides and maintains safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all employees, and provides all necessary information, instruction and training to achieve this. In our duties as Principal Contractor we ensure our sites operate to the very highest of standards and proactively manages all aspects of Risk within our environment. We provide "in house" HSEQ advisors who are NEBOSH accreditied and regulary attend industry Best Practice days to ensure we are continually working in line with the very changing requirements of Health and Safety.
As with all major contractors, RKDH personal are accreditied with a CSCS/CPCS card. Supervisors/managers hold Construction Industry Training Board Site Management Safety Training Scheme (CITB SMSTS) or Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (CITB SSSTS) qualifications. Civil operatives/supervisors will have New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) training.
