We are able to provide an in-depth consultation to discuss your needs and give guidance and advice. We manage only a handful projects at any one time to ensure that we are able to give our clients the level of attention they deserve.

Workshop
Our workshop is in Wickford, which is equipped with both traditional tools and modern machinery, we manufacture and install specialist staircases across London and the South East. We also supply curved handrail parts and staircases to other joinery firms across the country with local installation teams.

We have an in-house design team which makes use of engineering CAD software to design beautiful staircases that are not limited by the constraints of today’s stair software which is more suited to straight flights and standard stair configurations.

Team
Our projects are managed by Anthony Clemens, who has over 40 year’s experience in the design and production of all types of staircase and balustrading.

Our team includes an in-house Engineer/Designer, carvers, machinists, staircase makers and handrailers. We also have a team of external professionals, with whom we have a long-term working relationship, to support our projects.

Handrails
We are one of only a handful of companies in the UK who specialise in the design, setting our of double curvature handrails, which is widely regarded as one of the most complex areas within the joinery trade. Our specialist handrails are often seen in both modern period and homes. We work with loose spindle design and handrail fitted to existing core rails. We can work with any profile and will design unique balustrades to meet any design requirement.

Staircases
We have over 80 years of combined experience in the design, manufacturing and installation of complex staircases, from high quality straight flights, solid wall stringers, and geometrical (curved) staircases. We provide a complete service including a unique design service with an accurate photorealistic 3D visualisation. Our unique selling point in this market is the ability to make the most complex timber staircases and all designed to be finished within the environment which is it situated, and work closely with designers, architects and the customer to ensure a smooth project with no niggles at the end.
