About Ventx
With over a decade of industrial silencer design. Ventx builds on over 40 years of acoustic knowledge and 35 years of quality manufacturing.
Serving the needs of the Petro-Chem and Service Industries, Ventx manufacture solutions to Venting and Noise in pipe work. We provide our customers with a cost effective and practical solutions to their noise problem by providing custom built silencers.
Innovative
Noise is a particularly difficult factor to predict accurately. At the core of the Ventx design procedure is our advanced computer software.
This specially created program allows us to see the noise level most likely to be created. Interpretation of the data blended with experience helps lead to providing a proven solution.
Once the size and configuration is determined manufacturing drawing are prepared and the work-shop can manufacture the silencer. A high standard of manufacture is required to make sure that our products meet the design criteria. An industrial silencer must be strong to withstand the vibration during venting or discharge.
Flexible
To us customer service is one of the fundamentals of our business. We understand that customers’ requirements can sometimes vary as a project evolves. With this in mind we ensure that we’re always on-hand to provide a complete service every step of the way. We want the silencer we manufacture to be more than suitable and last for many years without question.
Solutions
Whether you would like us to analyse your current installation or you would like to discuss future plans to ensure you meet the legal requirements for noise control, please get in touch with us. We will be able to arrange survey, and then once completed, we can begin the design and manufacture process for your industrial silencer system.
Industrial Silencer Design
Our industrial silencer design makes use of leading computer software, creating predictive acoustic models, making it possible to design systems prior to the building of the infrastructure, as well as analysing existing machinery to produce system dimensions from the information gains from this process.
Industrial silencers from Ventx are manufactured using the highest quality materials, considering the type of silencer that is best suited to your purpose, whether a gas ejector silencer, direct line silencers, or vent discharge silencers and control valve silencers.
Model VDS
Atmospheric Vent Discharge Industrial Silencer. The model VDS uses a combination of diffuser design and an absorptive core section. The gas or steam enters the silencer through a multi-hole diffuser where it is permitted to expand through many holes into the expansion chamber. These units can be designed to be mounted Vertically or Horizontally, available with optional Bird Screens and Weather-Hoods.
Model CDS
Control Valve Silencer. The model CDS design of silencer employs the same principle of acoustic design as a vent silencer. This type of silencer is usually designed to a pressure code, and are used extensively in natural gas and hydrocarbon lines. Ventx offer to design to ASME B31.3, ASME VIII or PD5500 pressure codes.
Model DLS
Direct In-Line Silencer. Model DLS silencers are designed to produce as little pressure loss as possible, but achieve the required attenuation using only an absorptive section. Ventx design this type of silencer to ensure a low pressure loss. Often found on Compressor Inlet and Outlets and can be designed to a suitable Pressure Code.
Direct In-Line Silencers can be supplied as a simple acoustic core for inserting into the customers pipe work or as a complete vessel.
Model SES & GES
Steam or Gas Ejector Silencer. Model SES & GES silencers are specifically designed for use with Steam or Hydrocarbon Gas Ejectors. Ventx calculate the ejector noise and flow mixture, then design a suitable unit for either venting to atmosphere or reducing the noise along the pipe wall.
These units are often designed and manufactured to a design code, but can also be manufactured as a cartridge for the customer to insert into their own pipe work.
