ICS are a supplier of specialist detection products to the UK Fire Trade. We supply and support the VESDA brand of Aspirating Smoke Detectors to Fire & Security companies, Electrical Wholesalers, Internet Wholesalers & Web Stores. We were appointed by the manufacturer due to our indepth knowledge and technical expertise with the product.

All standard products are available on a next day delivery, where stocks permit, and are available at wholesale prices to trade customers. There is no minimum order charge and delivery costs are kept to a minimum. We offer dedicated support & provide training to the manufacturers accredited programme. VESDA Product information
The VESDA product range incorporates various detectors to suite many applications, environments, room sizes and budgets. Each different detector is capable of communicating the information detected to a fire alarm control panel, software management system or a building management system through relays or a High Level Interface connected to the proprietary VesdaNET network.

Vesda E
The VEU series of aspirating smoke detectors are the premium detector of the VESDA-E range manufactured by Xtralis and Supplied by ICS. An Ultra-wide sensitivity range; 15 times greater than VESDA VLP (LaserPLUS), and provision for more sampling holes provide an increased coverage in high airflow applications by up to 40%. Considerably longer pipe runs cater perfectly to applications with higher ceilings providing an increased coverage by up to 80%.

VESDA LaserSCANNER
Detection up to 2000m2. The LaserSCANNER is similar to the standard LaserPLUS detector, but also includes a valve mechanism in the inlet manifold and software to control the airflow from the four VESDA sectors (pipes).

This configuration enables a single VESDA zone to be divided into four separate sectors, for example, distinguishing between separate voids within a room or separate cabinets within the same room.

VESDA VLP (LaserPLUS)
The LaserPLUS by Xtralis is the core product in the VESDA aspirating smoke detector product range and is available in various models, VLP-002, VLP-400 & VLP-012. Like all Xtralis VESDA products it detects fires at the earliest possible stage and reliably measures very low to extremely high concentrations of smoke. It has a very wide sensitivity range of 0.005 to 20% obs/m. VESDA LaserPLUS supports four configurable alarms (Alert, Action, Fire 1, Fire 2) and protects areas up to 2000sq/m.

VESDA LaserCOMPACT
The LaserCOMPACT detector has been specifically designed to provide all the benefits of aspirating smoke detection, including very early warning, in single environment small areas and where space is a premium. This has been achieved through the combination of approved LaserPLUS detection technology, dual-stage air filtration technology and a modified aspirator design incorporated into a smaller enclosure with a simplified display. LaserCOMPACT is available in two main versions, one that interfaces via relays only (RO) or via the relays and VESDAnet (VN). The LaserCOMPACT is made up of two parts: the main enclosure and the front cover.

VESDA LaserFOCUS
Detection up to 500m2. The VESDA LaserFOCUS detector delivers the most advanced air sampling smoke detection technology to small environments - cost effectively.

The VLF-250 model protects areas up to 250m2. The VLF-500 model protects areas up to 500m2. In addition to the features found in all VESDA Laser products, the VESDA LaserFOCUS provides a new range of features & built-in intelligence that allow quick installation, commissioning and servicing.

VESDA VLQ
The VESDA VLQ detector is a cost-effective Aspirated Smoke Detection (ASD) solution that meets the unique needs of numerous small area applications of up to 100 m2 (1,000 ft2). Examples of these include telco landline remote offices, base station controllers, remote base stations, small server rooms, data centre containers, critical equipment, packaged HVAC units, anechoic chambers, pump houses, generator enclosures, signalling huts and modular laboratories, just to name a few.

VESDA IAS
Detection up to 500m2. The VESDA IAS Air-sampling Smoke Detection systems provide a flexible solution to meet the unique needs of numerous applications including industrial spaces such as cable tunnels, the tamper-proof and unobtrusive requirements of special accommodation, or can simply be used to replace spot (point) detectors in office environments.
