Who We Are
BDL Fire Protection are specialists within the Passive Fire Industry. BDL an established, yet still growing business. The foundations of BDL are to advise, supply, install and certificate each project. Managing director, Ben Leatherbarrow, has twelve years' experience within the Passive Fire Industry. His knowledge of the industry is invaluable.

With experience in both the public and private sectors of construction, BDL can meet the requirements of any type of client. We are currently working towards third party accreditation, to give added assurance of our services. As a minimum, all staff are trained to NVQ Lvl 2/3 to give quality assurance on the install of Passive Fire Protection products.

What We Do
We provide services for the installation of passive fire products to ensure our clients' projects or properties meet current legislation; Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. BDL also provide a consultancy service to give support, advice, inspection reports and site surveys.

All PFP products must be tested in accordance with BS 476: Pt. 20/22: 1987. They must also be installed in line with the Manufacturer’s Instructions. That is why all our operatives are qualified and competent within the industry to ensure all installation of products are compliant.
