Motor Bike Restoration
At Wessex Metal Finishers we pay particular attention to detail so you get the best quality finish for your motorcycle project. Whether you are looking for a traditional black gloss finish for your vintage restoration or a candy color with metal flake and clear coat, we have you covered. At Wessex Metal Finishers we apply colour to all types of motorcycles, from one of a kind choppers and custom Harley's to dirt bikes.
Typically we can powder coat triple clamps, motorcycle frames and motorcycle sub frames, swinging arms, shock springs, head lamp ears, wheel rims, fork sliders, motorcycle foot pegs, clutch covers, heads and cylinders. Car Restoration
Powder coating is a method of metal finishing using heat cured dry powder paint. Thermosetting powder coatings demonstrate an excellent balance of appearance, toughness, corrosion protection and mechanical properties. This allows powder coating use in the most stringent applications for the most quality conscious consumers.
Powder coatings are formulated in a rainbow of colours, textures, glosses and metallic finishes. The powder coating is fully cured when removed from the finishing line and will resist chipping, scratching, chalking, fading and chemical attack. Powder coating should produce the appearance you desire with the durability you require. Our 6 meter oven can take full car chasises and large parts for any size project wether you have small body parts or large iteams we can help.

The choice of colours and finishes is almost limitless. Coluor matching is quite acceptable batch to batch. When powder coated items are installed without damage, and maintained regularly (appropriately washed at regular intervals), the coating should be relatively permanent. A correctly applied coating, although not metallurgically bonded to the metal, will not crack, chip or peel as happens with conventional paint films.
