DO NOT use this builder. Stan’s “management” (I use that term very loosely) is appalling. We were told 6 wks worth of work, it’s now in wk 7 and not even close to being completed. Tiling of the large room is being STARTED on Saturday - we have decorators booked in from this Monday and a kitchen being fitted to follow. He has not even tried to get it done in time, even though he always knew the dates.
We have found out what is happening by the guys on site, times when he’s turned his phone off when there has been problems - left for us to deal with, the floor is not at the correct level to the entrance hall which was always the final level we were working too, which will now need to come up and be laid 30mm higher, the boiler room is 30mm lower than it should be so a massive dip from the utility. The utility still needs to be put in after tiling, along with skirting, doors etc and he is not even slightly bothered about the stress this has caused. I would seriously avoid at all costs.
