Access Control
Stand Alone Keypads can be fitted internally or externally and provide a basic level of security for a door or gate. All that needs to be added is a power supply and lock release or magnet. Most will take 4, 6 or 8 digit codes.

The Paxton Switch 2 is a stand-alone proximity access control system. The controller is mounted within a boxed power supply inside a secure area. The reader comes with a choice of two covers and approximately 2m of cable. Up to 10,000 users can be added to the system. Fobs are supplied in a wallet with shadow cards which are used to remove lost or stolen fobs from the system.

Iris Reader: Biometric technology overcomes many of the disadvantages of conventional ID and verification techniques (passwords, tags, pin etc). The iris reader uses the complex and intricate patterns in the iris of the eye, which are unique to each individual. The iris templates are stored in a database and are compared with the image captured by the video camera, read time 0.3 seconds.

Finger Print Scanner: The Schlage DX-2000 is suitable for access control points with low traffic flow. A pin code is used in conjunction with the finger print scan to compensate for any read errors. Readers are for internal use only.

Door Entry and Intercoms
The basic door phone kit allows the user to speak to customers before opening the door. It is ideal for premises where the door is a distance away or for people who have difficulty in moving easily. Additional handsets can be fitted if required in more than one room. they are very cost 3ffective.

Chef call / Nurse Call / Toilet Alarm
Here at Carter Voce we supply, install and repair chef call, warden call and toilet alarms, either off the shelf solutions or if you have specific requirements we will custom make an indicator panel for your application.

Wireless Systems
The basic Daitem 1-way kit will work up to 30 metres (100 Feet) with the handset located inside a building. The front panel comes with a lead that connects into the transmitter - battery operated - thus overcoming the need for connection to the front panel if this is impractical.

Locks, Releases and magnets
We can supply and fit a variety of Yale and Union rim locks in a range of finishes, or replace the cylinder of an existing lock. The Chubb 3G114 is a fairly typical example of a 5 lever mortice deadlock that we would fit to a wooden front door. Briton 2003 door closers are available in brass and grey finishes, they give reliable closing for most standard size doors. Other models are available for heavier weight doors.

Lock releases allow doors to be remotely unlocked via door phone and access control equipment, the standard release shown is available in a mortice or rim style. The Adams Rite and Trimec units are usually fitted into aluminium framed doors, but fittings for wooden doors are also available.
