At Emchia Asbestos Solutions we have 3 departments specialising in Asbestos Removal & Abatement, Land Remediation & Soft Strip Demolition. Each department is headed up by a highly trained and experienced manager to work alongside the client & project teams ensuring complete compliance, delivery of programme & client satisfaction.

Our commitment to quality in delivery and Health & Safety compliance is our prime focus - all personnel within the business are highly trained in all Health & Safety & asbestos legislation.

With our Headquarters in Manchester supported by two regional offices situated in the Midlands & London, we service the majority of the UK across all disciplines. Our varied client base allows us to deliver projects in a range of market sectors from minor domestic works to large scale remediation projects.

Asbestos
Our specialist team can offer a complete service from conception to completion. We can facilite UKAS accredited asbestos surveys to be undertaken based on the project’s needs. Identified asbestos will be removed or encapsulated based on the recommendations of the survey & management plans, all of which is undertaken in line with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

To complete the process we will organise for an independent UKAS accredited consultant to undertake the required stages of reoccupation and update the asbestos register accordingly.

Prior to any asbestos works being undertaken a full risk assessment will be undertaken which will be specific to the project, taking into account others who may be affected by the works including public & staff to ensure there is no risk of exposure.

Asbestos Flooring Remediation
At Emchia Asbestos Solutions Ltd we are at the forefront of modern technology & new practices. We are now able to offer a service that allows for the full removal of asbestos containing bitumen, adhesive and screeds as part of floor tile removal and surface preparation works. The system used benefits from a dustless system that can be utilised in any environment.

Our site teams are trained & experienced in the use of the equipment to remove any floor covering whilst also having the capability of removing coverings which have an asbestos content.

Domestic Properties
Domestic properties can have asbestos present in various locations in differing forms. Most common areas for asbestos to be present are:

• Textured coatings to walls & ceilings
• Floor tiles
• Asbestos cement garage roofs & rainwater goods
• Toilet cisterns
• Facia & soffits

Land Remediation
Our highly trained team have been involved with some of the country’s largest land remediation projects. Working closely with the remediation consultants & enforcing authorities, we ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, all undertaken in line with a Land Remediation Strategy.

We regularly deliver Seminars & Conferences highlighting projects we have previously undertaken whilst offering clients advice on various types of remediation strategies.

Japanese Knotweed & Himalayan Balsam
With our experience working in the Land Remediation industry we have forged working partnerships with specialist companies to offer various solutions for Japanese Knotweed & Himalayan Balsam treatment. This can include chemical removal, biological removal & excavation off site with 10 Year Warranties being offered.

With our asbestos in soil knowledge combined with their invasive weeds knowledge we can offer a seamless service for each aspect of contamination.

Strategies & Sampling
Our team can now advise & assist at the planning stage and organise for Soil Investigation works and sampling strategies to be completed. WAC (Waste Acceptance Criteria) tests can also be carried out by our approved suppliers.

Soft Strip Demolition
Our soft strip team prides themselves on being industry leaders in compliance & quality. All personnel working within the soft strip teams are fully asbestos trained, with face fits for Ori-nasal half-masks. Our proactive approach allows the team to identify any suspicious material immediately allowing them to stop works, minimising potential exposure.

With our systematic approach we can undertake all projects of varying size and complexities. With a number of different hazards involved on different projects we can provide control measures to reduce the risk to a minimum and still maintain program for the client.
