Welcome to Frimstone Ltd, a family owned business with over 70 years experience in mineral extraction, recycling and restoration projects in the East Anglia region. Here you will find information about the company and the variety of services we offer to the general public, businesses, local authorities and the construction industry.

Our services include the supply of aggregates to trade and domestic customers, including sharp sand, soft sand, gravel, rockery stones, decorative aggregate ‘slate’ and screened topsoil to mention a few.

To help accommodate our customers' needs we offer a full delivery service of all aggregates throughout the East Anglian region of the UK. Alternatively you are welcome to collect materials from of our sites/quarries (please check which materials are available from each site).

Aggregates
Frimstone operates seven sand & gravel quarries across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk as well as our Carrstone quarry in Snettisham.

We also have Depots in Waterbeach and Wisbech where we sell all of our sands, gravels, recycled, and decorative aggregates.

Recycled Services
Throughout our network of Depots, Quarries and Recycling Centres across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire we can offer a full complement of recycled aggregates.

Since 2000 all our materials are produced under our British Standards Institute (BSI) accreditations and meet with the Waste and Resource Action Program (WRAP), Quality Protocol.

Delivery
One of our unique selling points that separate us from our competition is the size of our haulage fleet. We operate a fleet of forty trucks that are driven by our contingent of employed drivers that are experienced in all types of aggregate delivery and our collection services.

Work is planned by our dedicated Transport Management Team that work hard to ensure our customers get what they want when it’s needed.

Our core markets are the Towns and Cities close to our network of quarries. Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Cambridge, Wisbech, Downham Market, Kings Lynn and Norwich.

Bagging
Frimstone Limited supplies bagged aggregates across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. The business has recently invested in a bagging plant to produce ‘Jumbo’ sized bags of aggregate and small plastic bags that you can easily load into your cars.

We offer sands, premix, gravels in both ‘Jumbo’ and small plastic bags and Good quality handpicked Norfolk cobbles in the ‘Jumbo’ bags. Just turn up to collect at any of our sites. We are now in a position to offer these bagged aggregates from ‘our quarry to your door’ cutting out any middlemen at an unbeatable price and quality. Our business prides itself on great service and high quality products. We welcome everyone and will go out of our way to help you.

We offer sands both soft and sharp, pre mix sand and gravels, various gravel sizes all in bulk and plastics and in bulk our hand picket Norfolk cobbles. Just turn up at any location to collect.
