North Wales Specialist Blast Cleaning and Coatings Company
Mona Coatings are a North Wales cleaning and coatings company providing a range of specialist blasting, coating and painting services, both on-site and at our dedicated facility.

We provide blast cleaning and painting/coating on anything from one-off items, to batch components, to large scale structures such as bridges, masts and pylons. We have a blast cleaning booth that can accommodate components up to 15m x 4m x 4.5m and our spray booth can accommodate components up to 22m x 5m x 4.5m. We provide blast cleaning services to SA21/2 BS EN ISO 8501-2007 and airless / air spraying to BS EN ISO 12944.

A Comprehensive Cleaning & Coating Service
We provide a full range of blast cleaning and coatings services, including:

• Hydro pipeline coatings – internal and external for hydro power or potable water
• Industrial anti-corrosion coatings – from enamel and 2-pack epoxy painting, to metal spraying, to high-resistance non-slip surfaces, to blast cleaning and coating of large structures
• Contract coating – a dedicated service for manufacturing companies and batch components
• Paint testing & reports – paint analysis and reporting utilising DFT and coating adhesion testing

Cleaning & Corrosion Protection for Steel and Aluminium Components
Mona Lifting have in-house state of the art blasting, coating and painting facilities. Our blast cleaning booth can be utilised for chilled iron grit, shot, glass, garnet, steel and CuSO4 blasting of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium. We can accommodate components measuring up to 15m x 4m x 4.5m and the booth is equipped with an internal crane and grit recovery and extraction systems. We provide blast cleaning services to SA21/2 BS EN ISO 8501-2007.

We also provide a mobile / on-site blast cleaning service and routinely provide shot blasting and painting of large scale structures such as bridges and pylons.

Our spray booth can accommodate components measuring up to 22m x 5m x 4.5m and features filtered input air and fume extraction and recirculated heat input. We provide airless and air spraying to BS EN ISO 12944. We are ISO 9001 registered, and are implementing an ISO 14001 environmental policy to minimise our environmental impact.

For manufacturing companies we are pleased to offer a contract blast / blast and coat service on production components. Examples of companies we have worked with on this basis as Faun Trackway and Chilli Penguin Stoves.

Paint Testing & Reports
Our expertise in painting and coatings allows us to offer a paint analysis and reporting service. Utilising the latest DFT testing and coating adhesion testing equipment we can advise and report on paint quality and lifespan allowing customers to enhance the life of their structural components.
