About Weather Seam Ltd
Weather Seam Ltd is a Cork based company operating in the Munster area. We specialise in Zinc, Copper, Aluminium and Steel cladding, roofing, custom pieces and rainwater goods.
The company was originally set up by the now retired Dermot O’Leary. We have almost 20 years’ experience in the industry working with Architects, Builders, and private customers. We provide a full-service including consultation in advance of the project commencing, carrying out agreed works and a professional aftercare service. Weather Seam Ltd work with the main metal suppliers in Ireland, metal supplied is under warranty for which certification will be issued. We work on projects of all sizes from hotels, universities right down to your private residential refurbishments.

Copper
Copper is a versatile, malleable, long lasting material which has been used for roofing for an eternity. Copper naturally changes its colour over time and will end up a blue/green colour in 30 years or sooner depending on location.
Zinc is a popular cladding and roofing material as it is a durable, long-lasting metal which requires little-to-no maintenance or treatment throughout its lifetime. There is several different manufacturers and colour options.
Zinc can be used for multiple different design features such as wall cladding, roofing or feature windows. With the correct build up and design zinc roofing can last over 100 years.
Aluminium roofing is a relatively new product to the Irish market and is a more budget friendly option than copper or zinc. It is an extremely light, durable material with a painted finish which comes in numerous colours. It also comes with a 40-year manufacturer’s warranty.
PLX steel is a hardy, durable material which is fitted in the same style as zinc or copper. It is an eco-friendly material which comes in a wide range of colours. It also has a rainwater system to match the colour of the metal you choose.
