Reviews & Testimonials for Interlock Driveways

AVOID!!!
So I found this firm through trustatrader and due to good reviews I thought I’d give them a go. At first they were spot on Robert rang me and set up a date when he can come and evaluate the job and give me quotation. Before he turned up I’ve had a phone call saying he has 3 or 4 other jobs in the area and he’ll be able to do the job cheaper if we go ahead because he’ll be ordering bulk tarmac if we all go ahead. Brilliant salesman When he turned up he told me straight away I would be able to a company who will do it cheaper but if interlock driveways do it I won’t be disappointed and I’ll receive a 5* service. I was quoted for 3-4 days labour with 4-5 people working on it which quotation he gave me seemed very reasonable hearing those facts. He told me what the plan was with the job and said he’ll bring some samples of the border for me to see before they lay it down. We agreed to do the job between 18-21 of may and I had to clear out the yard for them to be able to do the job. He explained we will have a contract between the two of us to have it black and white to what we agreed to and I only will pay at the end once I’m happy with the job they’ve done. He told me he’s not one of them companies that ask for my money before they do the job etc. On the day I’ve had a phone call first thing in the morning saying tarmac company rang him and said ‘hopper’ broke and it’ll take them 3-4 days to fix it . I asked him if he is still coming to do the prep work as tarmac is the very last thing he’ll be laying on the last day he said ‘no’ He doesn’t want to start a job and not be able to finish it in one go. That’s understandable. 4th day come I’ve had no call so I decided to ring him in the afternoon to be told ‘the hopper was fixed but now has issue with keeping tarmac hot and it should be done that day or day after (Friday) so I asked when they planning to do the job he told me he’s doing another job atm and I’m the very next job and by the end of next week I should have it done. Bit more digging and I found out it will be closer to the end of the week. He told me he’s got all the stuff ready for the job , he’s got the drains and border etc.
So another few days passed and missed a call only to receive message that they’ll be coming week after Monday or Tuesday. Very disappointed with the service already but baring in mind he said over the phone he’s got all the stuff ready for the job I felt bad for cancelling so I stated all the facts how I’ve been messed by him already and how I’m disappointed as I moved stuff to my neighbours garden and asked him if it’s okay for a week , it’s been 3 weeks by then , I’ve delayed steel and timber delivery to not disturb their work and I had delayed laying grass so they don’t damage it by going backwards and forwards on freshly laid grass! Robert apologises and said they’ll be making start on Monday. Monday comes a month after 3 weeks after initial job was meant to start I get a phone call saying We need to decide on the border because he still doesn’t have it . I told him I was aware that he has all the stuff bought for the job and I was told that he wasn’t sure which ones I liked (even though he said he’ll bring a few around for me to see first and stated he has everything for the job ) so he sent me pictures of 3 different ones and I chose one. So then I had a phone call saying building merchants are closed have strict policies and they only let one person at the time by appointments and his is for 2pm. So I asked if he’ll be doing anything today as I moved my cars by then he said he’ll still turn up and probably bring some stuff over. At 2.30 I’ve had a phone call saying he’s only just picked it up so he’s not sure if he’s going to be coming over today but 100% I’ll have it done by the end of the week (something I’ve heard every time I spoken to him) but he said he couldn’t get the s
