David Lamb Stonemason

I cannot speak in strong enough terms about the work David did in recovering the front of our home and how knowledgeable and diligent he is in working with period buildings. Our house is an 1870 Victorian brick and stone property, which was in need of repointing - although once we got the scaffolding up and David could survey the brickwork, it was evident that several of the more complex archway and dressing blocks were badly eroded and needed replacement before they failed - complicated by the need to quarry and manufacture bespoke sandstone. David was brilliant throughout - never exceeding his (very reasonable) estimate costs, or overrunning time. He is absolutely dedicated to his profession and has a deep passion for ensuring that aged properties get the care and attention they need to last well into the future. He was also able to arrange for odd jobs to get done whilst the scaffolding was up (guttering, wood painting etc) - delivering value for money throughout the job. Brilliant!
