I contracted Johnny and his team to replace a garden path and patio about three months ago; and wish I’d waited for more professional contractors.

They are quick and reasonably priced, however as a result of their lack of work ethic, poor planning, and low quality finish I wouldn’t recommend them.

Planning
Too few slabs were ordered, so almost all of my own spare slabs were used. After the sub base was compacted the team had to return to another job to finish it; but as the sub base contained pieces of glass it rendered the site unsafe.

Quality of finish
The patio edge was roughly cut and still needs to be grinded down. The cuttings at the end of the path do not align. The cement between the patio and the existing brick step looks like my 2 year could have done the job.

Work ethic
Johnny agreed to remove some existing rubble from my premises to seal the deal, however he then attempted to charge me extra unless I did the loading myself. Im still waiting for his email containing a supposed guarantee he gives on his work.
The team did not clean up after themselves, leaving cigarette butts all over the lawn, cement splashed against my walls and shed, as well as cement in my flower beds and sand/cement in the road. He agreed to return and make good, however he never did despite being chased.

If you do use J T Driveways & Landscaping keep back a healthy portion of the payment until well after to job has been completed for leverage.
