About BIMsafe
BIMsafe is a great new solution, giving you all the tools you need to embed Health and Safety information into your 3D model
BIMsafe is a collaboration between Callsafe Services and Cassidy Forsythe, combining over 60 years of experience in the management of health and safety and 3D modelling. With this experience at the forefront of our software, our extensive knowledge enables us to provide you with a premium health and safety solution at an affordable price.
BIMsafe allows each user to create their own Design Risk Register (DRR), Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) or Temporary Works Register (TWR) within their own native model.
BIMsafe has been developed to be compliant with PAS 1192-6 Specification for collaborative sharing and use of structured Health and Safety information using BIM.
BIMsafe has been designed to be very easy to use. You can be recording your health and safety risks in less than hour using the BIMsafe platform.
Step 1
Log in to the database using your email address and the password provided by us or your project manager.
Step 2
If you are the only person working on your project, create an individual project.
If you intend to have multiple people record risks on the project, depending on their discipline, you need to create a federated project.
Step 3
Click on the Add Risk button to enter the risk details.
Once you have entered some risks, they will all appear on this screen.
Step 4
Once you have selected the risk from the menus, click Continue to add data.
You can now enter all the information about the risk, relating to your project.
Step 5
Continue to add information about the risk, and enter the information about the level of risk and mitigation.
Once you have entered all of the information and saved it, you’ll see the information about your risk in the format required by PAS 1192-6.
Step 6
Once you have completed the data entry, go back to the project overview page and click on view guidance.
This panel will give you the links to download an appropriate 3D symbol in either Autocad dwg format, Revit rfa format or a Bentley cell library.
Once you have downloaded the symbol in your preferred format, simply place it in your model where the risk occurs
You can then add a hyperlink to the DRR, RAMS or TWR cube to take you directly to the information you have just entered.
We can demonstrate our application by presenting to you and your team via a webinar or by attending your office in person.
On a webinar, we can show you why you need our application, explain to you the background to BIMsafe and PAS 1192-6, and give you a live demonstration of the package.
We have already presented to Murphys, Kier Major Projects, TfL and the HSE working group. We have recently demonstrated the package to Siemens, East Riding of Yorkshire Council and others.
We use an online booking system to book demonstration webinars. This allows you to book a date and time that is convenient for you, without resorting to protracted emails suggesting dates.
