Bateman Skips is a family run business who offer local and friendly Skip hire service to the Bristol and Bath area. Our services include Skip hire, Grab hire and our Waste Transfer Station in Keynsham as another alternative to disposing of commercial waste. We offer a range of Skips from mini sizes up to large industrial ones.

Skip Hire Sizes
Here's a list of all the chain lifted Skips and the different sizes we have available for hire. We have 2 Yard up to 20 yard Skips ready for any application, domestic or commercial.
2 Cubic Yard Skip
Our 2-yard Skips are the smallest size of Skip that we carry and are ideal for smaller clear-out jobs, spring cleaning your house or for getting rid of your garden waste. Their compact size means that we are very often able to place it off-road on the smallest of driveways.

4 Cubic Yard Skip
Our 4-yard Skips are ideal for a spot of home renovation, kitchen/bathroom refits, garden clearances/landscaping or just seasonal loft/garage clear outs. Their low level makes them very easy to load.

6 Cubic Yard Skip
Our 6-yard Skips are by far one of the most popular sizes. They are ideal for larger DIY projects or building projects as they are suitable for your heavier, bulkier items such as home furniture/office clearances. They are also very common amongst builders as they can comfortably accommodate the weight of materials like soil and stone.

8 Cubic Yard Skip
8-yard Skips are the largest we can put out for heavy materials such as soil and hardcore; however, they are still one of the most popular sizes. They are extremely popular for larger clear-outs and commercial jobs and are excellent for carrying bulky items.

10 Cubic Yard Skip
Our 10-yard Skips are great if you have large amounts of waste to clear. They are still incredibly versatile for an array of domestic and commercial projects. They provide enough space for larger home improvements as well as commercial jobs. They are also very common for office clear-outs and shop fittings as they are perfect for lightweight items. They are not suitable to be filled with heavy materials like soil and stone, we can only carry a maximum of 8 tonnes!

12 Cubic Yard Skip
The 12-yard Skip is one of the most popular larger Skips available. They are regularly used by commercial clients for large projects that include bulky items and general construction waste. They are not suitable to be filled with heavy materials like soil and stone, we can only carry a maximum of 8 tonnes!

16 Cubic Yard Skip
Our 16-yard Skips are fantastic if you have a substantial amount of waste to clear. These large Skips are popular on industrial and commercial sites, such as shop fittings and construction sites, where light and bulky waste is produced. Not suitable to contain soil and stone.

20 Cubic Yard Skip
Our 20-yard Skips are the newest addition to our library of Skips. It really is reserved for those jobs where you have extra-large bulky items that need removing. We've found them to be popular with large site clearances, renovations and clearing out large commercial premises.

Grab Hire
Our Grab Hire service operates in Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas. Grab hire is perfect for the removal of Soil, Stone and variety of dug-out materials. The lorries give you flexibility when working on sites with limited access and resources.

Commercial Skip Hire
Every month we service hundreds of companies in the Bath and Bristol area for their Skip requirements. Many of our commercial customers stay with us for years.
