Construction Industry Training Providers Ltd are pleased to be able to offer a very comprehensive range of training and assessments for construction and construction allied industries.

We offer anything from basic ‘in-house’ training, endorsed by CITP, to the nationally recognised and fully accredited NPORS (National Plant Operators’ Registration Scheme), and CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme).

CITP also cover a wide range of Health & Safety training, both off-the-shelf and bespoke, to include the CITB accredited ‘Site Safety Plus’ suite of courses. These include the HSA Health & Safety Awareness (now used to gain the Green ‘Labourer’ CSCS card), the SSSTS (Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme), SMSTS (Site Managers’ Safety Training Scheme) along with the very specialist TWSTC & TWCTC Temporary Works Supervision and Co-Ordinator’s courses. We are also accredited to deliver the CITB ‘Achieving Behavioural Change’, and ‘The Director’s Role for Health & Safety’.

NVQ's - National Vocational Qualifications
A business is only as good as the staff it employs and develops. That’s why companies are continuing to invest in the right type of training that will equip the workforce with the right kind of skills needed to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive global economy. With this in mind, National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ's) are work based awards, which means that most of the training can be completed in the workplace, minimising disruption to the working day. For some courses, especially apprenticeships, some day release training may be required.

Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS)
The CPCS training scheme aims to provide proof of the skills and abilities of plant operators. It is based on a mix of professional competence, experience on site and health and safety awareness - three essential qualities for operating plant machinery safely and effectively. Being more effective in the workplace means that all construction jobs are completed quicker and to a better standard. Many companies have taken the opportunity to give their staff construction training and they have benefited from it.

National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS)
Our NPORS training scheme will ensure that you receive all the necessary skills and knowledge to get you further in the construction industry. We ensure that participants are trained, tested and assessed to the NPORS standard and we give them everything they need. CSCS Cards & Testing
CITP Ltd is an accredited CITB Health, Safety and Environment 'Touch-Screen-Test' centre. If you wish to apply for, or renew a CSCS Labourer Card, booking and passing the HS&E test is the first step you will need to take.

The ultimate aim of this test is to examine a candidates' knowledge of a broad range of key aspects of health and safety, which will in turn improve safety and general productivity on construction sites in the UK. To obtain a trade-specifc CSCS labourer card, be it a Blue Skilled Worker, Gold Supervisor or Black Manager card, candidates must also demonstrate their occupational competence by completing the relevant NVQ.
