We are a company with a vast experience and knowledge of welding and fabricating in the UK aswell as many countries around the world covering several continents.
iWeld offer more than just welding and fabrication, our aim is to take full responsibility for your project from initial design through to completion and handover.

Pipework
All aspects of pipework undertaken and here is an example of a Helium Extract exhaust (Quenchpipe) fully welded fabricated and insulated giving a complete on site project from our own design to the customer for a complete design to handover project for a MRI Room.
Helium Quench pipes form a crucial part of any super conducting MRI scanner installation. In an emergency the potential lethal gaseous liquid helium used in the scanner must be vented directly and safely into the atmosphere, therefore it is paramount that our welded stainless steel MRI Quenchpipe system withstands the drastic shift in temperature from ambient to that of liquid helium (-269°C / 4° Kelvin) within seconds.
RF Shielding
Electromagnetic shielding is the practice of reducing the electromagnetic field in a space by blocking the field with barriers made of conductive or magnetic materials. Shielding is typically applied to enclosures to isolate electrical devices from their surroundings, and to cables to isolate wires from the environment through which the cable runs. Electromagnetic shielding that blocks radio frequency electromagnetic radiation is also known as RF shielding.
The shielding can reduce the coupling of radio waves, electromagnetic fields and electrostatic fields. A conductive enclosure used to block electrostatic fields is also known as a Faraday cage. The amount of reduction depends very much upon the material used, its thickness, the size of the shielded volume and the frequency of the fields of interest and the size, shape and orientation of apertures in a shield to an incident electromagnetic field.
