Our landlords wanted to evict us because we asked them to carry out relevant safety checks. They started section 21 proceedings and just before we were supposed to be taken to court we received a gas certificate signed off by julian spearman. Our landlord then cancelled initial proceedings and restarted again.(You need to show a gas cert was in place at the beginning of a tenancy to evict under sec 21)
1)The previous tenant is adamant a gas check never took place.
2)It is dated 15/04/18. A Sunday.
3) It signs off a flueless gas fire as safe despite the absence of an external air vent in the room(manufacturer and legal requirement)
4)When asked Mr Spearman claimed to have lost 2018s paperwork in a recent house move. His business is still operating from the same address.
So regarding either competency or integrity 1 star is far too generous as far as our experience is concerned but there is no zero star option.

Had a new boiler fitted by Julian and his team last week, brilliant service brilliant job, no mess even went extra mile to put cupboard back together would highly recommend Julian and his team for perfect service
