Roof Slates

• Weathering: Chinese Grey Slate
  Naturally split grey slates with a riven texture. A proven alternative to reclaimed slates, as it can weather to varying shades within a relatively short period of time, making it ideal for refurbishment or repair projects. Almost free from potentially damaging pyrites.


• Cinero: Brazilian Graphite-Grey Slate
  High-quality graphite-grey slate, with a flat surface and pleasing grey-shade variations. Can be relied upon to create an attractive and long-lasting roof or floor. Has virtually no unstable minerals such as pyrites, carbon and un-oxidised irons, and will withstand the most severe weather conditions. Unaffected by sunlight, ultraviolet light and even acid rain.


• Lovat: Brazilian Grey-Green Slate
  High-quality grey-green slate, with a flat surface and pleasing grey-shade variations. Can be relied upon to create an attractive and long-lasting roof or floor. Has virtually no unstable minerals such as pyrites, graphite, carbon and un-oxidised irons, and will withstand the most severe weather conditions. Unaffected by sunlight, ultraviolet light and even acid rain.


• Mocha: Spanish Black Slate
  Black slate with a smooth surface and distinctive appearance. This roofing slate is flat and even, meaning there is less sorting and grading required, which means less work (and therefore time) for the roofer.


• Passaro: Spanish Blue-Grey Slate
  Blue-Grey slate with a smooth surface and distinctive appearance. This roofing slate is flat and even, meaning there is less sorting and grading required, which means less work (and therefore time) for the roofer.


• Liarn: Spanish Grey Slate
  A dark, thin slate with a slightly textured appearance. With some visible pyrites, this tile is a very cost-effective roofing solution.


• Melano: Spanish Blue-Black Slate
  Blue-Black slate with a distinctive riven, textured surface, resulting in a stylish finish.

Slatescape has over 35 years' experience as a slate supplier. A large part of our business is the provision of high-quality Brazilian natural slate tiles for flooring and walls, as well as our standard slate roof-tile offering. They are available in two colour options – Graphite and Grey-Green.
