Gave a competitive price on a full basement renovation that was stripped out ready to be worked on. Kevin did indeed have many solutions and understood most of the brief. Kevin did a lot of the work himself, he was knowledgeable and seemed very skilled. His team were also made up of family members, his dad, his brother as well as others. All very polite and professional during the renovation. HOWEVER, 1 year on (works finished Feb 2024) from a first boiler service, discovered that the gas pipe installed by Kevin was the wrong size, also found out that he had failed to ensure the boiler install was in line with building regulations and had paid a gas safe guy to simply sign off his installation. Gave Kevin plenty of opportunity to come back have a look repair at his own cost but he claims its my problem, and indeed it is. I would not recommend Kevin Livingstone his company or any variation of his company that no doubt he will seek to set up. Be warned reader- what lurks under ceilings and stud walls might all just be defective waiting for you to discover AS AS HAPPENED TO ME. A true professional would have been honest, truthful, transparent, and accountable but Kevin Livingstone/ Interior Home Solutions (Essex or otherwise) is NOT!
