Services
- CNC Turning
We have two full CNC machines designed for small to medium batch production runs up to 65mm max bar diameter and a 380mm cutting diameter. Each has a twelve tool turret, with independently driven tooling enabling milling procedures within the turning cycle and fine work such as engraving. With a parts catcher and chip conveyor, they are capable of quick and convenient multiple part production. - Semi-Automatic CNC Turning
For faster turn round on one-off items, special threads and longer bar work, our Harrison Alpha gives us the option to carry out highly specialised turning work and can also be programmed for small batch production. - Manual Turning
Our two centre lathes cover the fine turning and repair work, resurfacing worn shafts and making bushes to the original size, removing worn bearings, tapping threads and producing prototypes for design development. - CNC Milling
Our 3-axis Hurco VM20i can handle work up to 1100 x 500mm and has a maximum tool size of 250mm in length by 89mm wide. Combining a twenty tool carousel with a variety of generic and bespoke software packages, this machine can produce small to medium batch runs quickly and efficiently. Lines of programming can be added or removed to take account of design changes between production runs and a diagrammatic image of the run can be viewed to check the details of the process prior to starting the operation. - Manual Milling
Complementing our manual turning capabilities on the prototype development and one-off repair work, we run two manual milling machines capable of producing small quantities of very accurate, well finished parts.
Alongside the turning and machining capabilities, we also offer surface grinding, TIG, MIG and gas welding of steel and aluminium, fabrication and the assembly of finished parts. Customers are therefore able to come to us for a full solution, starting at the design and drawing stage, through the product development, prototype production and pricing to the full production and finishing stage. All work can be finished to an extremely fine degree of tolerance and accuracy.
Together with our partners we are able to offer both centreless and cylindrical grinding, wire eroding, flame cutting, laser cutting and a variety of finishes including hard-chroming, chrome plating, anodising, iridising, powder coating, painting and nickel plating. - Material Stock
A comprehensive stock of materials are carried, including Free Machining Steel Bar, Bright Mild Steel Flat, Alloy and High Tensile Steels, Brass, Aluminium, Stainless Steels, and various Plastics and Polymers.(Providing the facility for a fast response to urgent orders). - Collection & Delivery
A full collection and delivery service is available to compliment the above facilities, either by Company Vehicle and Driver or by Courier.
