I called last Thursday the company and I specifically asked for a service, such as changing my current key at the frond door of my house because I did not want the tenant to be able to make copies without notifying it to me. I asked if you could install key that needed a code to be copied. I was assured the company would offer such service.

I made the appointment for the next day.
The tecnician came and found out he did not have the right key with him so we booked an appointment the next day.
He came and installed the key. Provided us with 3 copies and the codes. He explained that for any further copy we should contact the producer of the key. He also gave me info in regards to a shop nearby who could copy it if and I repeat If I provided the code.

Today, my husband went to Tesco because we needed to copy an internal key, he thought to try and get the copy of the front door key that we installed last week. Nobody in the shop asked him to provide the code. The shop owner told him that it is a special key so it cost 27£, but I repeat , there was no need for codes.

First and foremost I am really scared. I relied on a service that was offered to me. I left the house for one week knowing that the tenant could not copy the key of the front door without letting me know.
I also wasted time and money to pay for a key that I did not need. My previous key was only 1 year old.
Now how serious this is I would like someone to contact me back because I would report it If I do not receive either what I asked for or the refund.
