Soil & Groundwater Remediation
Oracle Environmental are groundwater and soil remediation experts and we are continually seeking innovative ways to address contaminated soils and groundwater. We are committed to a low carbon footprint and sustainable approach to remediation.

Our experience has been gained on numerous oil spill response sites, brownfield redevelopment sites, petrol filling stations, clean and dirty water utility sites, farms and electricity substations.

Spill & Pollution Response
We have experience of dealing with spills in domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural environments and have dealt with a wide variety of contaminants including fuels, oils, digestate, fertilisers, agricultural slurry and chemicals.

Environmental Claims Management
Oracle Environmental have extensive experience of managing environmental insurance claims in domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural settings.

We manage claims from initial site assessments through to providing costed remedial strategies, carrying out remedial works, collecting verification data and providing verification reports.

Environmental Consultancy
Oracle Environmental employ a team of Environmental Consultants with a wide range of expert subject areas including geology, hydrogeology and aquatic ecology.

Our team can assist with contaminated land assessments, discharge of planning conditions and preparation of remedial strategies ensuring compliance with relevant guidance, e.g. Environment Agency Land Contamination Risk Management (LCRM).

Environmental Monitoring & Compliance
Oracle Environmental offer a range of water and air monitoring services to ensure compliance with environmental permits and trade effluent consents and emergency monitoring follow spill incidents.

We work with a range of clients to identify their monitoring requirements and can then design and implement a programme of monitoring to suit their needs and budget for a range of parameters from perimeter monitoring on construction sites, to VOC monitoring within a workplace setting. We offer a range of indoor and ambient air quality monitoring services for different industries and sectors including construction and demolition, manufacturing, fabrication, warehousing and logistics, as well as the environmental insurance sector.

Pollution Prevention
In a House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee report published in January 2022, the dire state of the quality of our rivers in the England was highlighted. The report identified that “A ‘chemical cocktail’ of sewage, agricultural waste, and plastic is polluting the waters of many of the country’s rivers.” The report identified that no rivers in England passed the appropriate standards with respect to chemical contamination.

Expert Witness Services
Oracle Environmental scientists have received training from the Academy of Experts and senior staff are also Members of the Academy of Experts and have attained the status of Accredited Environmental Expert Witness through the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Managers (CIWEM) and the Academy of Experts.

We provide expert advice on cases relating to the pollution of the land and water environment by substances including petroleum hydrocarbons, animal slurry, digestate and industrial chemicals.

Spill Response Training
Spillages of fuel, chemicals or foods can be seriously damaging to the environment and also to an organisations reputation. Our training is designed to provide organisations and individuals with the knowledge, skills and experience they require to adequately manage potential risks and to respond to a spill incident if one should occur.
