We are a family business that started building bespoke high-spec homes 50 years ago, so precision, detailing, and innovation are in our DNA.

Over the last 20 years, the Orr family business has used the latest timber frame, insulation, and airtightness technology to create some of the UK’s most impressive high-performance low-energy homes.

Kudos started out as Advanced Timbercraft, but as the years rolled on and our vision grew, we realised we were creating clever spaces - spaces that merit kudos.

In 2020 we embarked on an exciting new partnership with industry leader Zyle Fenster to distribute their stylish, efficient, and bespoke window and door solutions. The vast array of options available will facilitate the most ambitious designs of architects, developers, self-builders, and renovators.

Zyle Fenster has over two decades of industry experience manufacturing high specification, energy efficient Timber, Timber Alu-Clad & Full Aluminium (Reynaers & Schuco) windows and doors. Supplying windows and doors to the UK and Ireland for 15 years. The Kudos airtight timber frame coupled with Zyle windows and our precision installation techniques provides the perfect low-energy, high-performance partnership.

Zyle Fenster’s high specification of windows and doors, combined with their bespoke designs means you get the right style and type for your individual project; whether it is for a restoration, a contemporary new build, or an individual development, there is an option to suit every client.

Every structure is created to specification off-site in our dry, clean workshop, meaning that we can deliver and install quickly and efficiently without having to factor in the unpredictabilities of drying out times.
