What is FORS?
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators. FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance. FORS provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for those organisations that award contracts and specify transport requirements.
There are three level to FORS, Bronze, Silver and Gold FORS providing progressive accreditation enabling operators to achieve exemplary levels of best practice.
FORS accreditation is about a culture change from which your business will only benefit. It’s not just about compliance, it`s much more–becoming a FORS member will help improve:
CHAS is short for the Contractors Health and safety Assessment Scheme and is a third-party accreditation, primarily used in the building and construction sectors. It is one of the most recognised and well-respected certifications in the industry. Clients know that any contractor bearing the CHAS accreditation logo can be depended upon to operate with the safety of their crew and others foremost in mind.

Furthermore we can fulfil the role of your health and safety advisors throughout the year for a low fixed price fee, we will then review the CHAS assessment application before it is submitted to CHAS for assessment. Applying for Safe Contractor accreditation can be an extremely daunting task, or maybe you simply can’t find the time to go through the application yourself?

We can provide you with the right tools, paperwork and training to enable you to make a successful application. We provide an all in service which caters for the exact needs of your organisation. Asbestos Surveys
There are two types of survey for Asbestos Containing Material (ACM).
Management Survey – Required to manage ACM during the normal occupation and use of premises. This type of survey ensures that nobody is harmed by the presence of ACM in a premises, that ACM remains in good condition and is not accidentally disturbed.
Refurbishment/Demolition Survey – Required where the premises or part of it is refurbished, upgraded or demolished. This type of survey aims to ensure that nobody is harmed by working on ACM in the premises and that the work is carried out by a suitable contractor in a suitable fashion.
Constructionline
Constructionline is a Public-Private Partnership between Capita and the Department for Business Innovation & Skills. Some Principal Contractors and clients use the Constructionline database to search for registered contractors. We can assist you with the completion of the online Health & Safety section of the application.
