Planning Advice & Applications
One concern when considering adding a SunSpace to your outdoor living space may be the worry of having to acquire planning permission. Below we set out the standards for our SunSpaces, with regard to planning regulations.

This does not need to be a hindrance or a barrier, and indeed on the rare occasions where planning is required for the addition of a SunSpace, our expert team can update you with all of the information required and can help guide you through the process.

SunSpaces Verandas & Garden Rooms
While an extension or conservatory will most likely require planning permission, this is unlikely for a SunSpaces veranda or garden rooms. From our experience, very few verandas and garden rooms require planning and almost 90% of SunSpaces projects require no planning.

However, we have a design and technical team here with years of planning experience and offer a planning service for a charge of £588 + VAT (which includes your local council’s planning fee).
