About Diggermats
We offer Ireland’s most comprehensive range of ground protection and ground reinforcement systems – from pedestrian access through to roads, car parks and storage areas capable of taking the heaviest vehicle loads.
Diggermats was established in 2005 and is a family run business which has quickly grown into Ireland’s largest independent supplier of bog and crane mats for all your temporary roadways and ground protection solutions. Based in Trillick, Omagh, County Tyrone we supply to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
IsoTracks
Our IsoTrack mats are used across a wide range of industries including civil engineering, landscaping, golf course and sports field maintenance.
Specially designed for outdoor use, Diggermats Isotracks can be used as temporary roadway as it enables you to drive cars, forklifts, diggers, trucks & cranes up to 80 tonnes, without causing significant damage to the ground underneath.
IsoTrack L Ground Protection Mat
The Isotrack L ground protection mat is man-handle-able mat which provides safe, temporary access for work areas and protection over soft ground conditions and hard surfaces. Two person lift for easy handling and installation.
IsoTrack H – Heavy Duty Ground Protection Mat
For safe, temporary access across soft ground and in extreme weather conditions, Isotrack X is the ultimate, extreme, heavy duty mat.

Mats provide a load distribution mechanism that effectively reduces the formation of ruts there by minimizing associated negative impact on the local environment. Bogmats are the most popular ground protection on the market for small to medium sites.
Bog mats are a ground protection solution used to create long-term temporary access roads on construction sites located on or near fragile ground. They help to limit the project’s impact on the surrounding environment and provide access to hard-to-reach areas to heavy machinery.
EKKI Timber Mats
What is EKKI?
Ekki is native to tropical West Africa with large quantities being exported from Gabon and Cameroon. As Ekki mats are classified as a heavy ‘hardwood’ type of mat, as they are so dense they do not float well. They are an ideal hardwood mat for wetland, peaty, boggy and waterlogged areas.
Geo-Grid Systems
Geogrids are tough, flexible and built to withstand up to a 35 tonne axle load. With low installation costs, Geogrids can be filled with grass or gravel to improve appearance on site and to withstand harsh conditions.
They are constructed from 100% recycled polyethylene that is UV, weather and frost resistant. If you need sustainable grass reinforcement then the Geogrid system is the way forward.
Each grid is 495mm x 495mm with a 40mm depth and therefore 4 grid tiles cover 1m square.
From just £13.44 per square metre, these ground reinforcement grids are a cost effective way of stabilising a surface. Each grid locks to its neighbours, giving a solid, level surface for vehicles and pedestrians.
