Online Facility Boosts Household Handles

Construction News Image
A new, online purchase facility is boosting business for a Carlisle-based household handles supplier. Household Handles - one of the UK's leading suppliers to developers and to kitchen, bathroom and bedroom manufacturers - is enjoying an upsurge in enquiries from trade customers thanks to the new addition to its website.

JMT Sales Limited is the parent company of the kitchen and bathroom, warehouse and household handles supplier and is wholly owned by Michael Tuddenham.

His son Philip is the Operations Director: "With a vast range of handles, hinges, knobs, letter plates, door knockers, escutcheons and much more, the new website has a online buying facility which makes it simple and easy to navigate and purchase all our customers' requirements online," he said.

Philip also explained the background: "We started the handle side of the business seven years ago, which linked perfectly into our manufacture of kitchen carcases.

"The result is now one of the largest online distributors of cabinet hardware and door furniture in the UK.

"With the continual growth in Internet shopping, customers are finding it one of the quickest and easiest ways of the modern day lifestyle.

"Since our launch we have seen a massive increase in online orders," he continued.

"Customers now want to shop at their own convenience and in their own homes, making shopping hassle free and what better way than on our website, householdhandles.com.

"We've spent time searching the market to ensure that the products we sell are of the highest quality.

"This is backed by our quality of service, and, for example, if an order comes in before 12 noon we will endeavour to have the product delivered the next working day," Philip explained.

JMT Sales Limited proprietor, Michael Tuddenham commented: "Having created the company on my own 27 years ago it's incredible to see how we have now expanded into such a diverse family run company.

"Not only offering a fantastic variety of bathroom products but also hundreds of kitchen ranges for all sectors of the market.

"Now to compliment this, we have one of the highest quality handle ranges on the market.

"In the past five years, we have doubled our workforce to cope with the growing demand for our products," he said.

The experienced businessman said that while there are many companies in the market place today, what makes Household Handles stand out is their commitment in providing a vast range of products.

"Our new online buying facility - and most importantly the experienced family service we provide - offers a personal touch," he concluded.
