The NCC developed the 'Depot Plant Manager' course after being approached by the CPA who had recognised a gap in training for those who are new to depot management and supervisory roles.

The five day course has been piloted across some of the College's seven campuses. It is split into five modules, which are taught over five consecutive days. It covers a variety of areas which are vital to those in management positions within the construction sector including: leadership and management, sustainability, health and safety supervision, legal responsibilities of a manager and financial responsibilities.

This is a perfect example of how we have been working with a respected industry body, such as the CPA, to ensure its members receive the correct training as required by industry, helping businesses ensure they get the most out of their management teams."
