Visul On Track For Infrarail 2010
Specialist surface mounted tactile paving manufacturer Visul Systems is officially launching there Section 12 approved platform edge warning surface at Infrarail 2010 – its innovative new flame resistant tactile system developed for underground stations.
The system utilises the latest developments in resin flooring technology to meet the unique needs of the railway industry.
Visul's section 12 edge tiles and adhesive is a Methacrylate (MMA) based system which is fully flexible, hard wearing and can be applied to all sound station platforms and stair cases.
Visul Systems will be introducing there products at Infrarail 2010 in conjunction with leading rail industry body Rail Alliance.
Ross Carty, Visul Systems Marketing Manager, said: "Our Section 12 warning surface has been specifically formulated to meet the growing demands of the rail industry, providing fit for purpose floors that meet the needs of users and offer a sustainable solution at ground level."
It is fire resistant to London Underground Ltd Section 12 specification and speeds up construction and refurbishment process due to its rapid application process – with the floor generally ready for use within two hours.
In conjunction with launching there Section 12 warning surface Visul is also exhibiting there traditional range of polyurethane warning surfaces which has been widely adopted as the clients preferred choice when specifying tactile paving.
