International Collaboration Offers Renewable UK Energy

A Welsh and German company have joined forces to offer a renewable energy package designed to help Wales, UK and Ireland meets its carbon reduction targets.

Cardiff based Tremorfa Managed Services (TMS), which has expertise in electrical and mechanical installations, has teamed up with Parity Solar of Germany to install and maintain solar Photovoltaic installations which they design and manufacture.

The collaborative agreement signed this week gives Tremorfa the exclusive rights to supply and install Parity panels in the UK.

Steve Eades, Operations Director, of TMS said the agreement, worth at least £1million in the first year, would enable them to expand with the potential to create new high quality employment opportunities.

Parity Solar supplies the very latest in high quality photovoltaic products and services to the solar energy market worldwide from strategically placed regional headquarters in Germany, the US and China.

From large-scale power plants to very modest rooftop and off-grid installations, Parity Solar's international team of professionals will work with Tremorfa's customers to design, manufacture and supply the most efficient and cost-effective photovoltaic solutions.

Tremorfa will supply all the associated mounting systems, inverters and other electrical devices required for a clean, green energy system.

Mr Eades said the company is well placed to offer a cost effective renewable energy package to the public and private sector though this relationship with Parity Solar and an existing agreement with Kingspan Solar Thermal, which manufactures Thermomax solar thermal vacuum tubes at their Blackwood base.

The joint venture with Kingspan to supply and install solar panel products to new build projects or retrofit on existing buildings is now bidding for other public sector contracts.
