Broadcast Quality 3D Visualisation

Construction News Image
The very latest developments in 3D visualisation are now being demonstrated to RIBA members through the CPD Network.

PinPoint Visualisation, the world's leading provider of real-time 3D visualisation to the construction industry, has been approved as a RIBA CPD Network provider.

The PinPoint Visual System is used extensively in the broadcast media. The extremely high quality output coupled with real-time rendering make the system ideal for use in support of any commercial, residential or environmental development or regeneration scheme. The unique way that the software has been developed means that the user is given much more flexibility with high definition output, but at the same price as other commonly used and less flexible 3D systems.

Using GIS data capture methods and satellite imagery; PinPoint creates a visualised environment in real time, which enables a number of very relevant facilities to be available within the system. Real time rendering enables all of the visualisations to be positioned to exactly replicate the real world. Therefore sun, shadow, cloud cover and precipitation effects can be viewed, measured and assessed.

The PinPoint Visual System has helped architects and construction companies in design, planning and consultation. Demolition companies can show a clear visual understanding of how their process will affect the surrounding environment.

The next PinPoint CPD presentation is in Newbury on 27 May. The PinPoint experts are also available to make in-house presentations to groups of 6 or more attendees.
