GQA Excel On Installer-Related NVQs

Can you afford not to qualify your Installers?

The Glass Qualifications Authority (GQA) has for over 20 years, been the only active national Awarding Body offering national qualifications for Installers, Glaziers, Fabricators, Glass Processors and others within its sphere of influence.

This year (2010) the number of Installer related National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ's) awarded by GQA exceeded the 10,000 mark.

GQA qualifications have been awarded to individuals employed by hundreds of companies and indeed sole traders. The qualifications are usually implemented via GQA Approved Providers dispersed throughout England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The Approved Providers can often access grants to assist in Apprentice or Experienced Worker in-company training to achieve a NVQ. In some cases Providers who have successfully attracted funding have provided their services free of charge.

Those Installers that wish to work on construction sites need to achieve a GQA NVQ to access a full CSCS card.
