CMS Vibrations Bolsters Technical Sales Team
CMS Vibration Solutions, one of the UK's leading experts in the design and supply of anti-vibration and structural isolation systems, has bolstered its already strong technical sales team with the appointment of Jim Herbert and Gary Gratton as technical sales manager and sales engineer respectively.
Offering the complete solution for all anti-vibration and structural isolation requirements across the construction and industrial sectors, CMS Vibrations has established a market-leading reputation for its technical expertise and customer service in this highly specialist sector.
Appointed to underpin the company's aggressive growth plans, Herbert and Gratton will be tasked with providing comprehensive technical support to the existing customer base, proactively developing new markets and driving forward product development.
Joining CMS Vibrations from the automotive division of global engineering company, Trelleborg, Herbert brings specialist expertise in refinement of noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). Commenting on his new role, he said: "CMS Vibrations is a dynamic and forward thinking business with a market-leading product range and proven expertise in their field. I'm really looking forward to translating the knowledge and experience acquired in NVH through to this new industry and to making a positive contribution to the company’s continued success."
Having gained experience in the acoustics market with sister company, CMS Acoustics, Gratton has moved over to CMS Vibrations to specialise in providing technical service support and will play a leading role in managing the project pipeline. Gratton comments: "Becoming part of the team at CMS Vibrations will give me the opportunity to learn from highly experienced vibration professionals. I was looking for a challenging role that will allow me to develop technical skills and help shape the future of a company – having worked on a number of high profile vibration projects, the challenge is already starting to pay off."
CMS Vibrations is the exclusive UK partner for the complete Regupol RAV, Regufoam and Kinetics Noise Control ranges. Herbert and Gratton will be responsible for driving specifications of these core products as well as providing support to contractors, engineers and specifiers requiring bespoke system design and manufacture.
