Great looking, healthy gardens don't just happen, they take a lot of planning and care. Juggling aesthetics alongside practical considerations has never been easy but Sankey, the UK's leading manufacturer of garden and horticultural products, has ensured that practicality and design merge seamlessly in today’s gardens.
The decorative Beehive Water Butt provides the perfect solution for gardeners keen to protect the environment without sacrificing garden design. Easily connected to a down pipewith a diverter, the Beehive Water Butt provides gardens with on-demand rain water, the purest option for tender plants as it contains less mineral salts and metal deposits than mains water.
By the peak summer months as much as 70% of household water supply is used in the garden and this is usually when water companies are least able to meet demands. Water butts are becoming increasingly popular as the modern gardener realises that mains water usage can be reduced whilst ensuring a supply for the hotter drier months, protecting both pockets and precious plants.
Beehive Water Butts are manufactured from rotary moulded plastic and hand finished, giving the appearance of traditional terracotta but are lightweight, weather resistant and shatter-proof.
The 150L Decorative Beehive Water Butt includes a tap and lid and is available in Terraccina and Moss Green with a RRP of £74.99. The 300L Terraccina has an RRP of £149.99. An optional Premier Water Butt Stand is available in coordinating colours and finishes.
