Contracts Signed For Colosseum Refurbishment

Kier London signed a contract with Watford Borough Council that will see building work begin on the Watford Colosseum next month.

Elected Mayor Dorothy Thornhill said: "I am very happy we have taken the next step to putting Watford Colosseum on the map! Residents are very clear about wanting to see the Colosseum restored to its former glory, providing first-class entertainment for everyone."


The refurbishment of the town's music hall and entertainment venue will include a two-storey glass front extension to provide a new box office, cafe, restaurant, toilets and office space. Access will be improved with a customer lift to the first floor along with increased seating and new lighting.

Kier London now has a four-week mobilisation period before works start at the beginning of August.
