Clarke Gough Scoops Top Award
Manchester based specialist fit-out company, Clarke Gough, has won a top award at the Cheshire Local Authority Built in Quality Awards.
The prestigious awards recognise those who have achieved excellent standards of workmanship, delivering outstanding build quality to clients. At the awards ceremony, held at the Mere Golf and Country Club in Knutsford, top recognition was given to Clark Gough in the Best Commercial Project category for its high quality workmanship at fine jewellers, Kayes in Chester.
Clarke Gough was appointed as the main fit-out contractor to complete a full fit-out at the three floor jewellers, located in the Grosvenor Shopping Centre. The fit-out included all joinery, mechanical and electrical installation and painting and decorating. Kayes is also located within a conservation area so Clarke Gough had to work closely with the local conservation officer throughout the fit-out to ensure that the work was completed to the specified standards and guidelines. A close working relationship with the client and interior designers Raw Fish was instrumental in creating the bespoke, high specification finish.
Nick Kaye of Kayes Jewellers commented: "We are delighted with the quality and standard of work and the visual impact of the fit-out."
The award was received by Andy Clarke of Clarke Gough who said: "We are extremely proud to have been recognised for our work at Kayes and to receive the award for Best Commercial Project."
Clarke Gough is a fit-out contractor with a difference. The Company specialises in highly creative and bespoke fit-out and refurbishment projects for high end retailers, salons, bars and restaurants. The Company has completed a number of high profile projects within Manchester including Sankeys, Kellogg's boardroom and the Black Dog Ballroom. This latest award reflects Clarke Gough’s ongoing commitment to outstanding workmanship and service and supports the outcomes of a recent survey conducted by customer insight specialists, Distinction Marketing Ltd which revealed exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction.
