Szerelmey, the stonework and restoration specialist, has recently been awarded flooring and ceiling contracts worth £1.3 million at New Court, London.

Internally, Szerelmey is installing an Italian Travertine stone floor using its new, specialist raised flooring system. It is also installing a composite lightweight travertine faced stone ceiling, associated lighting troughs, metal curtain tracks and entrance matting.


Externally, Szerelmey is using traditional methods to lay an Italian Travertine floor and plinth to the building entrance and thoroughfare.

Work is being undertaken for the client, St Swithins Development Ltd. The developer and project manager is Stanhope, the construction manger is Bovis Lend Lease and the architect is Rem Koolhaas, Office for Metropolitan Architects (OMA).

The project is due to be completed later in 2010.
