For over 40 years Grindex have manufactured quality electric submersible drainage and sludge pumps.
To date, more than 200,000 Grindex pumps have been delivered to over 100 countries worldwide. The Grindex name has now become synonymous with reliability, quality, extreme dependability and functionality, especially for the hire industry.
Grindex drainage pumps are designed for pumping water that may contain abrasive particles up to the size of the strainer holes, pumping ground water and pumping raw water. Drainage pumps can be immersed to a maximum depth of 20m and will operate up to 40C with acidity of pH 5-8. No supervision is required as the air valve allows the pumps to run dry without damage.
The Grindex sludge pump range is designed for pumping water with high content of solids up to the size of the pump inlet opening diameter, water that contains abrasive particles, different types of mud and sludge and light slurry. These pumps will also operate to the same depth, temperature range and acidity levels as for drainage pumps.
For those requiring a highly portable, durable, easy to use submersible pump Tuff Line meets that need. Tuff Line pumps are ideal for unforeseen situations where reliability is required – flooded excavations and basements, for construction worksites and for draining inspection chambers etc. The Tuff Line consists of three models – two for dewatering and the newly announced Tuff-Solo for sludge handling. All three offer high performance despite being compact and lightweight. Capacity ranges from 385 litres per minute up to 690 litres per minute and the Tuff-Solo can handle solids in suspension up to 40mm diameter. Although the Tuff-One, Tuff-Two and Tuff-Solo submersible pumps are designed to be lightweight they are, nevertheless, built to the same exacting standards and feature safeguards to protect the motor from overheating or effects of water penetration.
Grindex pumps are distributed in the UK by Euroflo Fluid Handling and the company’s recent move to new premises has enabled them to further improve their ability to provide the full range of Grindex pumps, along with the rightly expected supporting service facilities and spare parts supply.
