Mansell Lands £3.5m Education Contract

Mansell has won a £3.5 million contract to extend and refurbish Wexham Court Primary School in Slough for Slough Borough Council.

The contract has been split into a number of phases. The first phase will involve construction of nine new classrooms, support facility rooms and associated works. Alterations and refurbishment of the existing school will begin once the first phase has been handed over. A new car park will complete the scope of works.

As the site is of historical interest Archaeologist's will be in attendance while the foundations are being dug. Previous works at the school have uncovered a medieval moat.

Work is starting on site this month and expected to complete in August 2011.
