Socomec's Green Power UPS Now Comes In 320 & 400 kVA
Socomec UPS has just announced the extension to their Delphys Green Power Range, available up to a system size of 1.6 MVA.
Building on the strength and popularity of the Delphys Green Power 160 kVA and 200 kVA, the Socomec UPS range is now available in 320 kVA and 400 kVA units. Complete with true on-line, dual conversion, the highly efficient (96% verified by Bureau Veritas) uninterruptible power supply range of units now offer increased performance to ensure maximum availability with the best certified efficiency on the market.
Where innovation is driving the transition to green technologies aimed at reducing energy consumption, data centers play a primary role in the challenge of reducing CO² emissions and halving energy costs without sacrificing availability of service. It is with this demand that Socomec developed their Green Power range.
The Delphys Green Power UPS range has been upgraded with new functions, along with its new size extensions (320 and 400 kVA), specifically to meet a range of availability requirements and to configure a variety of power and redundancy architectures up to a maximum power of 1.6 MVA, with the option of choosing either a distributed or centralised bypass.
Incorporated with a special Energy Saver mode for high-reliability architectures with partial loads subject to frequent power variations, the Delphys Green Power ensures low consumption for end-users. For example, in a 2N architecture, the Energy Saver keeps only the UPS units strictly necessary for ensuring N+1 redundancy in operation and switches the others on only if necessary. Redundancy is guaranteed, but the units are made to work in conditions of maximum efficiency: maximum efficiency with maximum availability.
